2023 Board Election, Polls Close on 12/31

Audi Club Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter Members,

The Audi Club Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter has confirmed three candidates running for three Board of Director positions. This is your opportunity as a member of the Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter to cast your vote for the future of our chapter (we’ve also included a poll for a new chapter name). If you’ve ever been to our website, received an email from us, or attended any of our events, then you’ve already connected with at least one member of our Board. What you may not realize is that the Board consists of chapter members, like yourself, volunteering their time to support our membership. Additional information about each candidate can be found below.

I have been a member of Audi Club and the Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter since 2007, after purchasing my first TT. I have owned TTs, Q8s and an A3. I have also been on the Chapter Board for several years, and have been an event master for our track events. I am currently President of the National Board of Audi Club North America and am entering my final year of my term on the Board.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
I have many years of non-profit board experience, including two terms on the National Board. With this, my legal background, and my long time involvement at the Chapter level, I have a lot of skills to leverage in guiding the Chapter forward.

Tell the chapter about yourself
– Been passionate about VW Group cars since I was a kid, from having posters of a 911 and Countach on my wall, to now owning a B9 RS5.
– Born/raised in MD, live in VA now; have lived/studied abroad in Asia and Africa; all driven by my interest in learning from and engaging with different people/cultures.
– Spent 10+ yrs in consulting in roles ranging from sales to strategy and finance. Landed a job at VWGoA 7 yrs ago combining my passions personally and professionally while staying in the DMV.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
My goal is simply to offer up more opportunities for Audi enthusiasts to gather and connect by not only expanding the # of ACNA PCC events in NoVA, but also offer a wider range and variety. This includes car meetups (such as cars and coffee or “cars and dogs” at an outdoor dog park), scenic drives (such as a Skyline Drive one) and more informal events (such as photoshoots). I would also look to find opportunities to engage with Audi of America more by tapping into my network of colleagues there.
